The BE KIND and put your best face forward for portraits tip is HUGE!! I have actually had a groom say to his bride “why do we have to take more pictures, we’re married now”, right in front of me, just seconds before a couples portrait. As much as I tried to joke “we’ll be quick so you can get back to your buddies” (which was his hurry), It made me feel badly for her, made her uncomfortable, and unfortunately you can see that in the picture.

As a Groom on the eve of his wedding day...,I gotta say this vid is an emotional 'L'. I am expected to take dozens and dozens of photos in 90-degree temps with 70-degree dew points tomorrow. I do not handle heat & humidity very well, and coupled with my medication, leads to bad mood swings. I believe husbands lead and wives follow, and If the man does not wish to do any more photos, then that's the end of it. I'm already feeling on-edge about it! Do note, as a Groom...it is my wedding, too!
