Thanks for watching! Just thought I’d mention that “naff” can also mean something is a bit distasteful or unfashionable (eg. Ugly trousers you see in a shop). See you next week! 🤓

Those are really British words. The greeting at the begging of the video was: "You know, oh, it's a funny thing, you know?" Bloody - 'Curse word' - something bad happens or to emphasize Scrap - Physical fight with somebody Row - vocal/verbal argument with somebody Cuppa - To have a Cup of tea - you fancy a cuppa? or a 'cuppa of beer' (more accurate example LOL) Snog - Passionately kiss someone (make out in American) Naff - Not very good (a bit rubbish) Knickers- The lower half of ladies underwear (weird often British expression, I wonder why?) Could you give us an example of daily chatting? Fluke - to do it by luck Chuffed - really happy and pleased with yourself Thanks a lot, Elliot. Excellent lesson.

What I don’t see anyone explaining is the fact that English, no matter the accent, is spoken through somewhat of a smile, which makes it sound a little softer. A lady from UK explained it to me, when I asked how I can fix my pronunciation (I am Russian). It actually helped a lot. But regardless, Elliot, I am very thankful for your lessons on KZbin, they help a lot, even though it’s still a ton of work. But what isn’t?
