The words "work", "girl" and (ironically) "word" are so hard to pronounce, aghh... Not to mention "-th" sound, when I read the sentence "We've been through thick and thin" I feel that it sounds like I have a lisp... I actually barely use english language in my life (sadly!), never talked to an english native before (like face to face), but I recently discovered your channel and your explanation on how to pronounce words in english accent is very helpful! His instructions are very commendable. I salute you Sir. As to mind our r's & l's, by 4:08 my American ear has already heard him slur off his r's & l's in his normal speech several times. Sorry it's just that the British accent has been so ingrained into the Brit's speech that it's impossible to negate & for many Americans sometimes so thick to understand rather or not they are speaking English, but then there are Americans we have the same problem with.

"work"and"walk"are the "words" that we Japanese find hard to copy, really!! we basically learn 100% American English at school in Japan, and one of the things I think are sad is if someone tries to speak English with British pronunciation, he/she is not a native speaker. I feel comfortable with British pronunciation since it's kind of close to Japanese intonation.

Yes, most of my students struggle with the 'th' sound. ENTREPRENEUR is indeed a difficult one. Here are some words that they find it difficult to pronounce: Pituitary, Respiratory, World, Pursuit, Risks, Tasks, Shifts, Susceptible, Periphery, Cerebrum, Diagnosis....
