Treasure Island, Darby O'Gill and The Little People, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea are on Blu-ray. Unfortunately they are Disney Movie Club Exclusives. I have most of the exclusive Blu's including them. Next I'll be acquiring the exclusive DVD's. You are correct a lot of the ones you mention are club exclusive (heard you say as I wrote this).

I have most of their exclusive blus as well. I do wish they were put out by someone else anyway~if they could get better transfers/treatment. I mean it's kind of a shame that I had to import the limited boxset of Flight of the Navigator from Second Sight over getting the DMC version. Plus, I believe it's been around a year since the last yellow border DMC exclusive. It's tiring the way they treat us, even in the darn movie club!!

One era is greatly overlooked in 4K or blu ray releases, and you touch on that mentioning Encino Man and Princess Bride. All those past comedies and feel good movies deserve more. I am so glad that Imprint label produced The Out of Towners with Jack Lemmon and Sandy Dennis on blu ray, as it is much better than Steve's Martin undertaking. (I love Stevie in other movies though)

I really want more Tony Scott movies on 4K. He's one of my favorite directors, but most of his films are under the Disney umbrella in some way (though there are a few that aren't). Enemy of the State is one I want to see on 4K as well... along with Man On Fire, Unstoppable, Crimson Tide, and Deja Vu. They definitely should license some of that stuff out to the boutiques.

I was wondering if it might be part of Warner's 100 years celebration... although I'd love to see WB just license it out to Arrow or something so we can get a killer, chunky LE box set (like with True Romance). In fact, I've deliberately held off on buying a blu ray of that one in anticipation of a 4K.

Circa 2010-2015 Disney was the gold standard of Blu-ray releases having 7.1 audio, best picture transfers, most special features, 3 Disc sets. I would like to see them at that level again. Can you imagine Princess Bride licensed out to Vinegar Syndrome as a VSU? I would laugh my ass off!

Agree with almost everything apart from more Pixars on Criterion. These films have already been released on 4K. We don't need more re-issues - we need to fill that vast gap of missing films on this format. One exception would be Marvel IMAX re-issues. Seconded and Thirded for Edward Scissorhands. How we don't already have all Tim Burton films released is doing my head in.

I’d love to see Lilo & Stitch on 4K. With the bright colors I think it would look amazing and also Lilo & Stitch: The Series at least on blu ray. They started releasing The Adventures of The Gummi Bears so there’s no reason not to release shows like Lilo & Stitch: The Series and some Marvel shows like full seasons of Spider-Man: The Animated Series and X-Men: Evolution. Con Air please!!! My late friend and brother was a big collector and I know he would love the ideas you suggested Ken. He was so excited to collect the Pixar and Marvel movies and he would always tell me what ones he got. There was a great movie I loved called Follow Me Boys! I don’t know if anyone else remembers it with John Larroquette that I’d love to see on blu ray. I’d love to also see The Shaggy Dog on blu ray. There was an update where dark horizons was talking about we may be getting True Lies on 4K this yr! Usually they’re on the ball when it comes to announcements so I could see this being the year. Oh and I would also love to see Disney put out a show from back in the day called So Weird. They seem to be a bit ashamed of it but they did it to try and compete with Are You Afraid Of The Dark? It was such an awesome show and I’d love to see it on physical media. Ty again Ken and keep up the awesome and amazing work please! The whole industry, not just Disney, is trying to move away from physical media. Physical products cost money to manufacture and distribute. Streaming and digital files do not. Physical media probably won't completely go away, but things are definitely moving in that direction.

Step 1, put more effort into the disks they release. Dolby Vision and good Atmos mixes(within reason on older titles) should be the bare minimum at this point. Step 2, accomplish Step 1 and I might start believing Disney has turned a corner on how they treat home media.
