My only disagreement was when you said they are concentrating on making a good movie over using an actor everyone loves. The truth is they could have done both. Especially with as big a fan as Cavil is, and his attention to detail (See the Witcher). He (Cavil) could pull off whatever story Gunn Wanted him to. I understand Gunn wanted a clean slate, but he could have made just as good a movie (if not better) with Henry.

What I liked: it seems to be an established Superman universe, no origin story or watching Papa Jonathan pass away again, I like it What concerns me: there were a lloooooot of villains in that trailer, I feel like either it's going to be too crazy (Spider-Man 3) or potentially worse just a Family Guy Flashback special "remember the time I fought this guy? When I watched the trailer. I thought it was a decent/okay trailer. It really looks like their going back to the classic roots of Superman rather then the dark and gritty tone that Superman has been done before since 2013s Man Of Steel. I really like that movie. But I do think it's time to go back to the classic roots something that many other superhero movies and tv shows lack today since post Endgame. So we will wait and see on how the movie performs coming out next year 2025 on July 11th or before that. I give the trailer a 7 outta 10.

Huh, a new Superman trailer guessing I should watch it. To be honest, one part is kind of true. I do love Disney in the past but the Disney now just makes products that are beneficial to them and not what’s important to the audience. Whether if it comes from Disney, Pixar, Lucasfilm, Marvel, and theme parks and cruise ships they have a hard time understanding that the beneficial comes from the audience and not from the talk of profitability. To be fair the Disney shills are good but even them can’t convince people to take the side of Disney because imaginative creative people are behind products that are well done and the woke ideology it seems like they are basically like Professor Calamatis from Jimmy Neutron because there products are never finished. @ 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 don’t make me laugh. MCU shows like Agatha All Along didn’t rely on nostalgia and were great. Plus Deadpool and Wolverine was practically being marketed as a multiverse movie with tons of nostalgia (it is also the highest grossing r rated movie of all time and second highest grossing movie this year).

Superman is a pretty uninteresting superhero. We also just had a franchise of it. I'll probably still watch it, but mostly to satisfy my curiosity.

Its all about money isn't it? Play it safe, make a mid-level movie and make the brainless audience comeback again and again. in the end, most theater visitors are comic book fans, casual audience sit at home with streaming, so WB wants to please the cinema goer. Why is infinity war such a masterpiece? Its because it's not cash grab, rather it's telling a story while breaking the conventions. Still, the trailer looks good, it might not the be the greatest superman movie of all time, it looks descent.
