If we don’t put our name on our papers our teacher just throws it out and gives us a 0
@priscillajimenez274 жыл бұрын
Exactly!
@melissafeds13444 жыл бұрын
That helps you remember to put ur name next time. You dont know how hard its for us to figure out who the paper belongs to. N then we have to deal with the parents who dont know how to discipline and raise their own spawn but expects us to do everything. Home is the first school.
@ok-oj6ss4 жыл бұрын
@@melissafeds1344 ok teacher i dont want to be rude but we dont have times for putting names we forget with all the learning thats going on our brains get stuffed with school work thats boring which makes us forget our names...aka dont take this offensive just saying
@melissafeds13444 жыл бұрын
@@ok-oj6ss Its fine. U were polite. I believe that before u r asked to begin answering ur paper, the tr should remind everyone to write their names. This is what I do . Inspite of this reminder, if the tr still gets a no name paper, then its only fair that there should be consequences. The parents should value discipline, both at home and at school as it will only benefit their own kids and their future, not the teacher. Teaching is more of a selfless service. We impart wisdom apart from the subject topic. We dont have to do this. We don't get paid to do it. We stand for hours, potentially affecting our health in later life. Yet we do it coz if our words make a difference in at least one person's life, we think it was all worth it. We r no enemies of kids when we punish them. The parents should realise all this. The good old days were better.

I hate that teachers are now expected to like have super cute rooms and be super crafty. Just give them budgets big enough to have everything they need instead of making them McGuyver stuff out of cardboard boxes. Like, yeah, I'm all for recycling, but it should be a choice not a necessity for teachers.

Erin Alexander yessssss
@theroadtocosplayandcomicco58405 жыл бұрын
Erin yes ! I have autism and I'm currently studying special education as my college major ( minor is in theatre because I am a theatre brat ). While in high school I was apart of a special teaching program that allowed me to teach children with disablities for 2 hours a day 4 days a week. I remember walking into the special education rooms at I got a bit overwhelmed it looked like a normal class but it wasn't decorated for children with disablities. They did have a cool down area/ reading area but that was it. I want my classroom to be an room that is educational fun welcoming and safe. My overall priority as a future educator is safety if the kid doesn't feel safe they will be scared and not want to go to school 2nd welcoming I want my kids to enter my classroom and feel that their teacher ( me ) loves them and cares for them that when they go home they tell their mom dad or guardian " I feel safe at school I love my teacher shes very nice " I want my kids parents to know that when they go to school someone is looking out for them loves them and cares for them 3rd fun educational ( Funucational its my word ) I want my lessons to be fun hands on or whatever method works for my kids ( each kid learns differently ) I want my kids to be excited about learning. Of course I will teach them important skills like learning how to exchange money or how to tell time. I cant wait till I become a teacher since I was 15 this career was ment for me. Here is the ironic part of it all as a kid I hated school.

The Road to Cosplay and Comic Con Hating schools is a prerequisite for becoming a teacher because you remember what you didn’t like and have the perspective to look back and decide what to do so someone else doesn’t have this same experience! Especially since you have experienced what has happened to them they will feel more comfortable! Passion is the driving force! Preparation is the decision of how to take passion and steer it into action! My household has two members with autism! Variety is the spice of life ! Be blessed!

@@hayaslife2193 the younger grades are taught by senior teachers ones with the most experiance. Thank god Im doing special education but I prefer the unit. Its much more organized and for me thats a good class setting. Not so many kids that I get overwhelmed usually its about 14 to 15 kids and depending on the school you have at least 3 or 4 more teachers in there so you can teach each child on a 1 to 1 or in small group setting.

All of these are great ideas, but my students are gonna ruin this by the end of the week, and not adhere to the colour pencil sorting rule. Also, I'm gonna lose all the marking clips by the end of the week. Bottom line is that I will have made more work for myself since I'll have to spend an extra hour after class going through, and replacing all the damaged decorations. I need something lasting and realistic.
