If the saree is 9mts and 30cms you can tuck liberally as you say. Chk for this length before you purchase any 9 yards saree 🙏

In addition to length of the saree, you must also ensure that width is sufficient... from ground level upto your chest or little below your neck...i.e., 44 to 48 inch saree width for ladies taller than 5'2" Ensure this while purchasing since many 9 yards(8.3metres) sarees with 40" width are also available in stores. ☺️
