I guess you guys set the bar way too high because when I saw the ending screen where she was only given $2500 I literally said out loud "wait, that is it?". I was really surprised they did nothing for the hero kid.

The money was a pitiful surprise, because what she really needed was a new car from United Nissan so that she can continue to go to work to take care of her family. I was waiting for Don Forman to come in and hand them the keys to a vehicle. All's they did was pay off an unusable vehicle. Id take the 2,500 and use it to do something else,screw paying it off. Biggest problem with insurance and yet another good example of how it should be outlawed is they never stand by there insured person,they screw them over like always.The idiot that stole the vehicle would be paying the 2,500 for what he did and that should have been the outcome.

On top of the emotional impact of the carjacking & media attention (positive & negative) on the child, that thieving 💩🤡 created a financial strain that can impact them for years. While saving up a down-payment for a replacement car, they may be paying for car riding services/taxis. Finding an affordable, good replacement vehicle, even used, isn't cheap. New loan for 3-6 years, possibly higher loan rate, monthly payments & insurance. Deeper in debt.
