Oh I just watch this in Sept .2020. So sad to see he has passed. He seemed to be a very humble and compassionate man. A man of action not just words. We need so many more like him. I wonder if his family and friends were able to keep his vision going. With all of the death and destruction right now in our country, He would be out putting up crosses and giving love and hope to the families. His actions are the type that portray the American Spirit not the rioting and killing of people screaming for destructive change. None of those punks could even begin to touch the kind of man he was in his life. He us a true American Hero. Where is his Cross celebrating his life?

RIP, Sir. Maria has passed away as well. January 2018, several months after this telecast. They are once again reunited. 🙏 "Mr. Zanis didn’t just make crosses. In the fall of 2018, he delivered Stars of David to Pittsburgh after 11 worshipers had been killed there in the synagogue massacre. He also made crescent moon memorials for Muslim victims of gun violence. In an interview last year, Mr. Zanis said he read obituaries to determine the faiths of those he would memorialize." - The New York Times, May 4, 2020
