@ahisee51813 жыл бұрын
@@seishinaozora5839 it's microfractures that strengthen bone. Big damage like getting your femur snapped in half is the kind of damage that results in permanent injuries. This is why conditioning training, which is basically giving yourself microfractures over and over and over again by doing something like punching soft wood, can be very dangerous. Since you don't know the extent of the damage being done, whether it's just a microfracture or you've wrecked your knuckles, most martial artists today only do conditioning on softer stuff like a heavy punching bag

It's not really masochism, since she didn't enjoy the part where she was injuring herself. It was an untreated drug addiction, because she got hooked on literal painkillers and was willing to harm herself to get more. The health teacher should've realised what was happening when a student is coming in 2-3 times each week asking for painkillers with the same injury each time, and provided support for her mental health rather than simply cutting off the supply.
@anagittigana3 жыл бұрын

Considering the story where she ate grass for hunger, it sounds like she was neglected as a child, leading to this behavior. If the patches were freely available on self-service stand instead, it would become pointless.
