He warned, “Those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through THIS craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs” (1 Timothy 6:6-10).

Lord, I pray in all thy reading, that this young man gets revelation. I pray in all thy referencing, that this young man seeks relationship with You. I pray that Your divine hand be upon Him, that he will speak through the anointing that you reveal. For we walk by faith, and not by sight. You are the God that spoke through Jesus, and the same God that has called us to be still enough to hear you. I pray that the power flow through Him like rivers of Living water, for the mind body and spirit.

@buddyd007 With regards to itching ears....Once the love of truth is weakened by the love for a large audience/congregation, integrity has no leg to stand on.Difficult doctrines are omitted, which leads to the preference of an adjusted powerless gospel that caters to our itch. Everyone knew what Jesus stood for in His earthy ministry, Grace and truth!! New testament prophets according to Paul under inspiration of the Holy Spirit edify the church and exhort to action. Only the 66 books of the Bible are the inscripturated words of God and they alone have absolute authority. Note too that many members of the Scottish reformation prophesied. YP Ministries

@christslove there is no need for extrabiblical revelation. I say this with the love of Christ. God has spoken through Christ and His holy Words. Extra-biblical revealations normally lead to heresies and cults( Mormonism etc). The secret of God's heart is revealed by the Holy Spirit and is discerned via the preaching of the Gospel. You are correct however that every spirit should be tested. Test everything against the Word of God. Say no to extra-biblical revelations.....God bless you

Why have you people failed to see the Truth of God's Word. Prophecy have ceased Daniel prophesied it 9: 24 and 1 Cor 13. The Lord said to ask for the Holy Spirit, He gives it freely. When men assume the title of prophet, there is always a certain element of pride and selfish ambition behind the motive, in this case, from ill informed adults behind the scene. 100% of the time the prophet forges ahead to meet the demand of this self acclaimed title. @gladmenarenotGod Yes...there will come a day when the prophet is no longer needed, but I think you are using those scriptures out of context. If you look at 1 Corinthians 13, it is talking about the gifts of the HOLY GHOST and LOVE. After he talks about LOVE as the greatest gift, then he says that "That which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away." Then he goes into maturity of the Body "when I was a child, I spake as a child, etc, etc."

@gladmenarenotGod I think you have to read those scriptures you proved contextually. In 1 Cor 13, that day of no need of prophecy will come with maturity (1 Cor 13:11). In Daniel, again, I don't believe this is the "seventieth week". There are some things which must happen first, and the Church sadly is not there. Some of the prophecies in those texts you proved has not all been completed. I look for the day the Church matures for real to the point that the prophet is not needed.

I knew hundreds of scriptures...I used to preach. The problem is that the bible is not real. The only real evidence that proves the bible to be real is itself. Just think!!!
