I think Scott's success is kind of wholesome. FNAF might not be for everybody, since there is a bit of a stigma towards the games and the fanbase, but that doesn't take away from how Scott went from a completely unknown game developer with nothing to his name that was close to quitting, to creating one of the biggest franchises in recent memory. And the fact this whole franchise started cause he took the criticism he got for Chipper and Son's Lumber Co and embraced it.

I still cannot believe it has been nine years since the first FNAF game. as an OG FNAF fan, this hits me hard in the nostalgia. oh the fun we've had over the years. I hope the series doesn't fade away. many memories were made from the first jumpscare to beating and 100%ting the most recent release.

Damn, it's so hard to say that Scott left everything in the game series. The thing is when I miss him, I miss the good old days because I have seen old stuff that a lot of people liked it. Thank you Scott Cawthon, for everything you made it.

In 2014, those mascots made ourselves scream as they popped up on our Pc. . . . . It’s 2023 now, and it’s going to happen again, but on a large screen in a large and dark theater room. What a time to be a Fnaf fan!

God... this video made me cry, I watched it multiple times, with each teaser shown it reminded me of how excited I was when I initially saw them, as a veteran of this community I am so proud of what it's become, Five Nights at Freddy's formed me into the person I am. I still remember being 11 and my best friend asked me those amazing words... "Do you know what FNaF is?". Thank you Scott for everything, down to the friends I've made to the memories I still make. We love you Scott, You've changed so many lives. 🤎💙🧡❤💛

9 years, 9 years. I’ve played ever since the beginning. This was my childhood. All of our memories rest in this game, Scott, You are the greatest. You made my childhood and my memories. I hope this game and fan games will never die. Thank you Scott. Thank you for all the wonderful (and violent) memories.

Man, I remember watching the first ever gameplay for the first FNAF game, and as a 10 year old at the time I was really hooked on the franchise, I had stuck to every SFM video, theory, and games from then on. Now that I'm 18 and had watched the FNAF movie, it really did hit my right at the heart seeing one of my favorite games to be up on a movie screen. Thank you Scott for shaping my childhood.

God this honestly kind of made me emotional. It’s crazy to think about how much this franchise has grown, far beyond what anyone really expected it to be. And thinking about how the FNAF movie, which was talked about SO early on, didn’t come to pass, and is now practically a 9/10 year anniversary AND looks awesome?? Absolutely insane. Great job on putting this together. Remembering all those teaser images again, that little repetition you had with the different Freddies opening their eyes, and ending with Scott’s goodbye letter and the movie trailer was all really neat and moving. Good job.

9 years...damn its like we've got no time until some crazy new thing is announced, and its really been so long since we,ve got anything scary. But even though the scares may have been left behind help wanted 2 looks to be the scariest thing to be coming out soon and though I really miss that just gold age of Fnaf I am sure the movie that we have been waiting 9 years for will be good because no matter what happens to the series I will always want to spend Five Nights at Freddy's.

As Freddy’s eye open, we were introduced with a horror game, check those doors, close em if they get near, but after a few years, it was a hit, until SB changed the first game, “try to escape” and now, 9 years later, it was a movie hit and after a few years, Freddy’s eyes will close, leaving to a forgotten memory Five nights at Freddy’s, now close your eyes Freddy, you will never be forgotten by me. Thank you Scott, you’ve changed my life.
