@Jack Z yeah. Here in the US, the Lexus LX is much more common. No one a actually takes it offroading. I've only seen 2 or 3 LCs. In the KSA, offroading is almost necessary, and the sand is smoother than offroading in the US.

Actually I had more issues with my land cruiser than my v8 supercharged Range Rover sport. So contrary to popular belief, Toyota’s aren’t unbreakable and they are a ripoff for what you actually get. Also my interior fell to pieces within a year it was that poor and how many times to I get my aircon fixed again?

Landcruisers are designed to last 25 years. I have a LC built in 2000 with 233K miles and still it has factory wheel bearings and axle seals all around! Everything on engine is factory except the timing belt components, spark plugs, few coil packs, PCV and drive belts. Same goes with the transmission. Not a single U joint is shot. Land Cruiser is for a person who loves reliability and not for a person who love 65 inch big UHD tv's and 10 USB ports inside a cabin made with thin sheet of aluminum. According to Andrew at 4xoverland Landcruisers are called Offroad Touring Truck; Very True.

In saudi we have v6 version a 4.6 v8 and a 5.7 v8 and alot of diffrent trims for all budgets.... The cheapest comes in at about 45 grand with a v6 without crawl control or air suspension but still capable and worth it.

Very popular here in Australia. The Sahara (top of the line) is around $Aus120,000. What you are getting it for is the fact it goes anywhere, has massive reliability, holds it's resale value and also it tows huge caravans. It's not the flashest vehicle, but it serves it's purpose.

From where I’m from these cars can be seen every 20 seconds (literally) this and Lexus. I can see why, they barely depreciate, aren’t that costly to maintain( there are gxr’s here which are cheaper than the vx’s ) the off-road capabilities of these bad boys like damn, but we personally have a Range Rover autobiography which is more comfortable and very smooth to drive. The thing with land cruisers are that they are not comfortable at all especially on bumpy roads, also the infotainment system isn’t that good

They are probably going to go with Gasoline direct injection engines, as has Ford and Chevy, in order to improve gas mileage. These engines are very complex and longevity is in question.

Got the 2019 GX.R a few months back, it's actually because I had a 2007 G standard and I was so happy with that car that I got another one, straight out of the dealership, again. Those cars are extremely reliable, I have 870,000KM on my 2007 G with no repairs done at all, just regular maintenance. They're comfortable and even luxurious to my standards, very capable cars all around, if you have the money for it then it sure is worth every goddamn penny.
