Stormwatch153 Would you clarify, please? Anyway, to elaborate, for $75K, you get an Alexa-like infotainment system, hybrid system, smoother ride to be more all terrain, and better accleration and handling, because the batteries are in the rear creating a more balanced weight distribution. All those things Toyota does not have. I can have more fun driving the GLS and in a couple of years spend the savings on fixing those things, though hybrids are supposed to be more reliable than an ICE-only car.

This thing must be able to fall on some rocks to the underbody without it sacking through this axels or have fluids leaking. oh dear this comment section is too salty hahah there's no denying about the LC's reliability and it's truly an iconic and legendary vehicle, however I wish Toyota made some efforts to put changes and updates for its interior. I mean if I really want to get an extreme off-roader or something to take on the outback, why would I pay for 80k+ for a new LC if I can clearly get a second-hand in good condition LC which is way cheaper and can probably outlived most cars SUVs trucks on the road?

Paolo Ariedo You people try to make the same argument. While it may be a ten year old design, if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it. Same with the gu patrol. Came out in 1997, went off sale in 2014 and 2016 in Australia. It’s a proven formula and those cars are the most common to see here all kitted out with off-road things. Have you see a newer merc or Land Rover over 300k miles? Thought so...

Thanks to Toyotas superb reliability and strong resale value it’s worth every penny ( top spec model costs AUD $120k here similar price to a BMW X5) !! Really looking forward to the next series maybe later this year so I can replace my Hilux. Thanks for the video mate and stay safe.

First you have to calculate how many km is 13 miles - 13*1,609=20,917 km Then you convert one US gallon to litres - 1 US gal=3,785 l When you have calculated it within a second (because it's so easy, you don't need a calculator), you can proceed with dividing 20,917 to 3,785 - 20,917/3,785=5,526. Being such a bright mind as you are, you can now divide 100 with 5,526 - 100/5,526=18,096 And you have got yourself a result - 18,1 l/100km. It was so easy. You're obviously a Toyota fan boy who doesn't understand that "functionality" doesn't give Toyota an excuse to cheap out on interiors, you saw how stone age looking that interior was. Pretty much all new Toyotas are like this, not everyone is poor enough to keep the same car for like 30 years so "bulletproof" reliability is pretty much useless, oh and a cheaper land rover discovery is better off road ;-)

Hey Matt if ur wandering why Land Cruiser doesn’t have the fancy electronic interior like such as Range Rover, X7, etc is because regular car manufacturers only expect their car to last 10-15 years while Toyota wants the Land Cruiser to last 20-25 years. So yeah u can still drive this bad boy with no problem in the years of 2040s 👍👍👍
