90 Daihatsu Rocky - HELP

Hi, I have 92 Rocky, I clean the injectors, new spark plugs, and 12 oz. Of B-12 on my gas tank with 91 octane gas for 100 miles, then I replace the 2 fuel filters, and bingo ! My Rocky runs like new, I have 205k miles when I did it, still running awesome.

this is a electrical issue, some sensor prob or tps maybe

Hi there, hope you are doing great quick question could you resolve the issue? I got the same problem I have changed the coolant sensor, the fuel pump the filters and it is doing the same issue, hopefully you resolved that.

Can you put a fuel pressure gauge on it? BTW there's a guy living here in Perry Rd in Springdale that has a beautiful Rocky, same color. I'm not sure good exact address but the road is only about a mile long. Maybe he might wanna buy that

Also, I have a 1969 Chevy C10 longbed that I'll be cutting down, and I was thinking about contacting you for parts(bed, driveshaft maybe) But I got laid off so don't have much money anymore. I also have an '82 K10 shortbed and I need a rear driveshaft for it. It's a 700r4 with a 208 tcase and a 10bolt rear. Maybe you have one?

@@Jake2670 if you have a rear driveshaft id be interested in it. I'll have to dig out my measurements. I've gotten a few different ones that weren't right. I do know the stock rear ds has an 8 inch long slip yoke with 32 splines and I think it was around 42 inches long yoke to yoke. If you have anything close to that let me know and I can get exact measurements

Do you still have it? If you have, check the temperature sensor for the ecu. Have you checked the throttle system as it looks to me to be revving a bit high? A thorough clean of some sensors may be needed.

yeah, its a sensor of some kind. the high idle is from cold start

@@Jake2670 Thats normal. After warm up it should rev at 850+- 50rpm.

Power steering pump It reverberates throughout the car i daily drove a rocky for 2 years. The pump when it starts to go WONT WHINE when turning just that gentle chirp you heard at the exhaust Also check your water pump and the injectors on mine started to leak fuel recently 180k miles These things blow head gaskets like a mf, change the thermostat NOW. It doesnt matter if its brand new check it its fucked already i know this for a fact i would bet my life on it Edit: MINE ALSO HAD NO CLUTCH FAN OR FAN so that theory is wrong. I ran an electrical fan on a switch. Its funny seeing somebody else talk about their suffering

Checked it, tested ok. After reinstall, it did run good for 10 minutes or so, thought was fixed but then it did same as n this video. The water temp is under distributor :-( wondering about egr after looking n manual
