WE WERE WRETCHING!!!! this goes beyond immaturity! hes had a messed up childhood. without mental health, this is what can happen. u meet another person who has serious unresolved issues also, the unhealthy attraction pulls them in to each other & this combination is lethal to any successful happy relationship. in a psychology class in college...we read this case they remind me of . 2 military academy cadets ( she, in the naval academy, he in the air force academy-2 honor students -dated since HS,, bright successful motivated young people on the road to a great future) david graham & diane zamora who murdered another girl who diane was jealous of because david told her he slept w/her. he lied, he didnt. so diane had a tantrum & told him to kill her to prove he loved only her. &unbelievably, he did. & she helped him beat her & then shoot her twice in the head. they were both convicted of murder life w/ the possibility of parole (been in prison 28 years now) up for parole in another 13 long years, 2036 (they wont get it) & this happened in 1995. they were ages 20 & 18 @ the time of the murder. the innocent girl who was only friends w/ david...age 16 at her brutal murder. mary & brendon probably wont end as as deplorable as those 2, hopefully, but they certainly will never have a happy healthy relationship w/o some serious long term therapy, BUT first apart to help w/ their own issues of insecurity & other issues & then if they choose to stay together, partner therapy.. what makes them think once they are living together, everything will be fine?! emotional immaturity & toxic traits. they are both getting something they need from this pernicious relationship she wont let him out of her sight. he wont be allowed to look or talk to other females. they will continue to argue & be stuck in it. its just mentally destructive for both of them that he not only puts up w/ it but encourages her controlling behavior shows he needs mental help also. so he cheated. u either forgive & choose to trust again or u say goodbye & move on i dont see this ending well here at least. i didnt major in the mental health field at all OBVIOUSLY! . only a BBA grad; so im just talking as a dopey viewer of this silly show.... but these people fascinate us, dont they! & hope for their best outcomes.
