Mahmoud should come to the US and see what it’s like to live here. He has been trying to be more understanding, and show Nicole why he asks her to do certain things & wont allow her to do certain things like in the last episode where he brought her out to eat with his friends, he warned her of the awkwardness and she thought he was exaggerating but when she actually felt the awkwardness herself she was able to understand why her husband was trying to protect her from. The clothes aren’t fully his preference either, it’s literally the most socially acceptable to wear a hijab & modest clothing. I think if Mahmoud witnesses what is socially acceptable in the US, he might be more understanding when it comes to Nicole & how it’s not unusual for people to express themselves through clothing and how it’s not uncommon for friends & their significant others to mingle & go out together and have fun. They both have different backgrounds & cultures and need to learn how to compromise with each other

I feel the need to speak on the "Nicole and Mahmoud" situation, with the intention that others may hopefully understand a little better. Why? Because I'm married to an Egyptian man as well. Thank God both my husband & I are the same religion, which DOES help the situation a lot; HOWEVER, even then there are definitely still major cultural differences (I was born in Germany, but my family is originally from Scotland. I became an orphan at a young age, & was sent to America to be adopted; the adoption fell through, & I was dumped in an orphanage). Anyway, these cultural differences cause communication misunderstandings & issues within the marriage, unintentionally. That's why, about 5 months into our marriage, we both agreed that Marriage Counseling would be needed for us to learn how to communicate with each other in a more loving way, despite our cultural differences. And, thank God, it saved our marriage. I already see many comments, both here and on other videos & platforms, calling Mahmoud "very controlling of Nicole," "trying to force her to live by his rules," "expecting her to change herself for him," and worse. I disagree with most of these statements, and here is why. . . Nicole KNEW she was getting involved with a Muslim man from a Middle-Eastern country. That's a choice she made. When a Muslim man proposes to you (a non-Muslim women), it is your responsibility to learn the basic principles of his religion. And NO, you do NOT have to convert to Islam to be his wife. Additionally, it is also your responsibility to learn more about his culture, since YOU are making the choice to go to Egypt. I've had the pleasure of visiting Egypt many times now, and living there for a while as well, thank God. And, for anyone that hasn't been, here are a few things you should know about the culture & day-to-day life in Egypt: The government/police/military/anyone with a position of power may very well be corrupt. There is a lot of corruption in Egypt, sadly. Tourists don't see this side of Egypt, for obvious reasons; for those that have lived there or have never left, this is part of life. Just right now, the economy is so bad due to inflation, that butchers are financing meat. Mahmoud is NOT trying to force Nicole to live by his rules, or to prevent her from making friends with men in Egypt because Mahmoud himself has a problem. The problem is with the society for Egypt as a whole, ESPECIALLY for a woman from a foreign country. Egypt has some of the highest rates of harassment against women, which is a shame, and tourist & non-Muslims get targeted the most. I'm a Muslim even, but because I have such fair skin, I get targeted a lot. I truly hope that Nicole & Mahmoud work their communication & cultural differences out, because they both care & love the other, in their own ways.

Here’s the thing and then going to be completely honest here… A lot of you people in the comments are probably afraid of seeing what you really feel… but here’s what I think if you lie to me on a date I don’t give a fuck who you are … whatever are you a Transgender that’s not a problem…. The problem is that you lied to me!! If you have common decency you would tell me before the date so I have hold all the facts in front of me… if you have a problem with this then I’m sorry it’s not my issue it’s yours!!! get comfortable with yourself.. 😮 with who you are… ❤

Yes that’s for YOU. Some would think it’s a lot to say on a first date and getting “deep” on a first date is too much. You sound very intense and that’s maybe your style, but you have to realise it’s not how everyone is. Also in today’s world of social media it’s not a secret anyway. He didn’t lie he just didn’t mention it right away. The trans community have to be very careful as they are often faced with violence. There’s a bigger picture here and it’s a shame you refuse to see it, you only see it from your side, you you you.

Sorry, but Gabe does not look like a man. There are many give aways, signs that are very obvious right away. Body proportions are way off, the eyes are feminine, the hairline, bone structure, the voice. At best he looks like a feminine gay man. Nothing wrong with that. The point is he just does not look like a man, but more like a feminine version of a man.

I'm a pansexual woman, but it would bother me if someone I was dating wasn't upfront about being trans ONLY because I feel like that's deceitful. I'd continue to date them (if we were compatible, obviously), but we'd have to have a serious talk about honesty and communication.
