My father left me even before I was born. He wasn’t even present at the hospital when my mother gave birth to me. Yes he saw me once when I was 6 months old but that was it. I was raised without a father my entire life but unlike Natalie I am not seeking acceptance or trying to replace the empty gap in my life by seeking a relationship with a man. I always said if I do find the right person then by all means I will be in a serious relationship if I never find that person I’m ok with that as well. I learned to make myself happy regardless.
