Michael turned the rat loose and the dog mysteriously died. She moved to Florida and dated other men, while having Michael's credit card to support her. And she gave Michael 7 years of her life? What did she give in that relationship? Michael did all the giving, and went through hell giving it. He couldn't even eat or drink beer in her presence. It's been the same with Josh. Only Josh hasn't moved her in, and supports her at an arms length.

Mike is a hard working level headed man but his life is too simple for what she desires but I believe he could have provided stability loyalty and the child she says she wants so bad She wants the better qualities of each man wrapped in one but ironically she possesses none of them herself.

Natalie wants to be with Josh because of what he represents; opportunity, success and money. She withholds affection when she doesn't get what she wants. They should have worked on their relationship and if she was really focusing on her career and furthering her life, if things didn't work out with Josh it wouldn't have hurt so bad because she had other things to focus on.
