I smoked for 40 years, I managed to stop smoking because I was on the list to get a guide dog, I needed money to feed him, so I gave up shes just used to getting her own way by being so loud. I bet shes a topical Karen who shouts and orders people around she doesn't care about how Michael's feelings it's her way or no way

I totally understand him. I was a smoker and needed to have a breast reduction. Was told to stop smoking 2 weeks before the surgery. I quit only a week before. Well I learned the hard way why. I ended up with a medium bruise on one of the girls that ended up leaving me with a scar that I didn't want. She's having a facelift, even more important. I learned from that and got prescribed Chantix and am not smoke free.

I used patches ,but these days there is LOTS OF CHOICES AND LOTS OF HELP ! I NEVER thought I would EVER stop .......BUT I DID ! by far the best thing I EVER DID !!! I also called it a "tiny habit" from 12 years old til I was 39 yrs old sitting where Angela is, except I was still smoking after a stage 4 breast cancer. I had a radical mastectomy, chemo, n radiation. I wanted reconstruction...the Dr said no way. You smoke . I had to wait 6 months and be nicotine free and tested . It took me a year n chantix. But I have 9 years cigarettes free not even a drag!! I have nice round firm pretty D's. After the 6 months test I had 97% lung capacity vs 67% when I was still smoking . I never understood til it happened to me.the Dr said to me when you smoke your not getting in enough oxygen,so your blood vessels n cells can't heal quickly or properly , I had a blood clot when I had the mastectomy. I never realized it was directly from smoking ,the healing process after I quit was so easy and everything by went perfect. Theses episodes really affected me , I want to email that Dr and explain how much more awareness needs to be said . Angela I hope you quit girl!!!

Acupuncture helped me quit after several attempts using others methods didn't. It took 3 weeks for me to completely quit, 6 weeks to finish the full treatment. I have never wanted another cigarette.

I was a smoker for over 40 years and I had to have spinal cord surgery. My doctor told me that I had to have 8 pins put in my neck and that if I didn't stop smoking the pins in my neck may pop out because smoking is making my bones weak. That day I stopped smoking and it's been almost 10 years. I still miss them but i have not picked one up since. If she wants surgery she could do it.
