Rode this in '79 aged 15 on my then new Carlton Giro. We'd ridden Manchester to Llangollen the day before, some 70 miles. We rode to Mold, then back to the Youth Hostel in Llangollen-50 miles. Then back to Manchester on day 3, a lot fitter ;-) I recall coming back down the Horseshoe flat out & getting up to 60mph a motorist told us. There was a cattle grid part way down which we hit at speed, a bit scary! One or two sheep got yelled at, to clear off the road - youth holds no fears - happy days

Cattle grid at 9:20 - try that coming back down at speed ;-)
