I made this one from quilter's cotton last weekend and have worn it out a couple of times since. I like how it's light on my face, but fits well - some other ones I have made me feel like I've got feed bag strapped on my face instead of a mask. And it's very breathable. I don't feel like I need to go way away from people so I can pull up the bottom of my mask slightly and get a few deep breaths in before going back to what I was doing. Very nice. Thanks for sharing!

From the very first day I saw your video, I stick here. I am not watching any other face mask channel. You take your time to explain, you sew on hand for those that dont have sewing machine which is very caring, and you give us advice and you encourage us, and you always show us how it fit by trying it on. Why should I go else where... I glued here lol thanks for creating this channel and I thank the univers that I found your channel.

I told everyone nothing to be scare just like road test,, you learned the basic but to hand on you never know how you do until you try it... if you make a mistake, you do it again, that’s how you learn. I am so proud of you, now I bet you loved sewing right??? You’ll love it more if you make it and give to someone you care for or someone need it. Please let me know if you have any questions. I am so happy to hear your success. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

My neighbor made this one for several members of her family. They fit well, so she sent me your Channel link for me to try my hand at it. However, for her husband she added loop tabs instead of sewing in the elastic as her husband wanted to be able to easily replace the elastic once it became too stretchy or to be able to use a parachute cord instead of elastic. I like the idea of the tabs myself. |Thank you for your tutorials. You are a good instructor!

When you thread your needle do you knot both pieces of thread or do you only knot 1 peace of thread? I always did both but in a small class I took years ago I was told to only knot one. What is the best for these mask? I promise I will try not to ask any more questions tonight. Thank you for understanding, that it has been so long since I sewed anything by hand or machine. I sewed quilts by hand years ago.

LOL, you can ask me many questions you want,,, When you hand sew, always use double threads and knotted both of them,,, if you only knotted 1 thread then you really only sew single thread LOL... What is the purpose of the button ? Love the way you wrapped the button up. When you sew the button on did you go thru the button holes ?

Question, is this size only for women? Do we make it bigger for a man, and smaller for teenager and kids? How much bigger or smaller do you think? Thank you, good tutorial. I wish you would sew us on a sewing machine sometimes, not always by hand.
@TheTwinsDay4 жыл бұрын
Much easier to learn from hand sew and sew by the machine, I am here helping people with no sewing machine and also people never sew before,, so for you just use this tutorial and use your sewing machine,, same way but quicker for you.. For men you can add 1" more but the fold and everything else stay the same elastic can be 1/2" longer For teens 1/2" smaller Elastic 6" ( I suggest you try pantyhose for the ear loops, so much softer and comfortable too) Let me know if you have any questions Take care
