What makes this compilation stand out is the way it captures the humanity behind every fail. These aren’t just athletes-they’re people with goals and plans, and seeing those plans go hilariously wrong is both relatable and endlessly funny. This is sports entertainment at its finest.

25:54 Why is a successful log barge dump in this video?
@bcpioneer598 ай бұрын
Probably because most other people have no idea that is how they are unloaded,seen it many times near where I lived. They do not know that one side of the haul is pumped full of water to allow it to list drastically to one side and the logs slide off. always fun to watch, but can take a few hours to get to tipping point lol

Looking at those welds at 1:10 ish. I thought, proper prep is 95% of the way to a good, strong fix. Especially for a box steel trailer. Then the camera panned to show its structural on a ferry/barge and my eyes popped so much, you'd swear I was Amanda Seyfried's twin brother.

Some of us are more sensitive than others 😉 but just look at it this way, each of these also serves as cautionary take. Should any of us find ourselves in any of these situations, we might survive thanks to the folly of others. It seems every one of these had nothing more than minor injuries, not counting the property and a few egos.

25:28 - That's similar to one theory as to why the Edmund Fitzgerald sank so fast. Some researchers on one of those documentary shows figured out a wave and speed combination in the range of estimates for both where the bow embedded in the wave ahead and it could just drive itself underwater down the face of the trailing wave.

The super yacht was a deliberate maneuver to avoid the bridge after loss of control
@Jens-Viper-Nobel8 ай бұрын
Yeah, perhaps. But what kind of loss of control? This isn't the only incident involving this particular yacht. Far from it, in fact. Either the owner has a catastrophic tendency to pick the wrong people for the jobs, or he is one poor captain and ships commander himself. That yacht is notorious among navy and government sailors across the world. And no. Fair is fair. Not always because of creating damage. But poor handling by the crew is a hallmark of this vessel.

Being someone who used own a boat for 50 years I have seen some of the most unqualified people operating them, well lets say tried to operate them. Most of the entertainment would take place a the boat launch AKA boat ramp. Either when trying to launch the boat, or put it back on their trailer. Watching someone try and back up with a trailer was always a good indicator that the real entertainment was just about to start. But I must be honest I got my first boat at 16 and took my two nephews with me and I was so excited I for got to put the plug in and as we are going along my nephew says " Ah are we suppose to have all this water in the boat? " and as I turn around I see a shit load of water in the back of the boat.....NO,,,,, get up on the bow and lean over as far as you can I gunned it and I wasn't able to go fast enough to drain the water, thank god this took place in late fall so no one was at the ramp and I was able to get back to the ramp. If I was ten feet father out at the ramp the boat would have sank.....I got the boat on the trailer far enough to pull the ass end out of the water and let it drain out and boy did that seem like it took for ever...... I never forgot that plug again in 50 years of boating. After we got the plug in my nephews and I had a great day, no one was on the lake.
