@@WingsTVChannelgreat video. I have watched this video so many times just because of the rare aircraft featured in the video. My favorites was the FW190 and MS406.

Superb video however was disappointed to see more on board footage of the three P-51 Mustangs than footage of them from the ground. Would have been better to see more of the display with the occasional onboard shots.

Magnífica exhibición. Preciosos modelos. Me ha gustado el respeto por la decoración de los aviones del III Reich, aunque no me ha gustado ver un avión Hispano Aviación 1112 disfrazado de Messerschmitt 109.

The bf109 was just a copycat of the P40😏
@kanyespastor58885 ай бұрын
That’s actually not a 109. It’s an HA 1112 Buchón. A Spanish plane. But they do look a lot like a P40 you’re right !
@williamsmith73402 ай бұрын
Not a copy cat. After WWII, the Spanish licensed the rights to build the Bf-109, but there were no Daimler-Benz engines available to power it. As a result, they redesigned it to use the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. The DB was an inverted V-12, whereas the RR is an upright V-12. Hence the different look of the aircraft forward of the cockpit, and its superficial resemblance to the P-40, which also uses an upright V-12 engine, but built by Allison. The rest of the airframe and wings is the Messerschmitt designed 109.

@@williamsmith7340 interesting - i didnt know that, thanks. that'll explain the much larger air intakes on the p40 and the ha1112 compared to the 109.
