Can the TW 200 run with Califorina traffic at 90 MPH?
With a couple simple mods your TW can keep up and become the ultimate comuter bike

I have a TW on order. After much research (LOL) I have determined that a 15/49 would be perfect for me. Mostly country roads at 55mph and under. Great video.

Dude your killing me... I ride a 19 te300i and a 701 primarily here in the nj pine barrens but I’ll never get rid of my trusty TDub 200! Lol... I’ve had so much fun on that thing, had to put a works shock and cartridge inserts in it (big guy like you).. but it will always have a home.

@@EverySingleSunday Haha, one thing for sure.... I'm sure you can relate... I have a couple built HD's, a Busa, a Super Tenere and KTM 300XCW.... That little Van Van 200 has me pull my usual pace waaaaaayyyy back to a crawl and cruising in its elements is always a great time! 👍👍

Cool video. I've seen someone drop just the rear from 50 teeth to 47. And that was a reported improvement. That's just about the same as 15/49 I guess. It comes stock with a tame top end, but like he said in the video, the 1st gear gets mostly wasted unless you're hauling weight in rough terrain. Adjusting the teeth for American interstates is almost a requirement for American owners who truly want to go anywhere.

Do you remember the jetting specs you’re running off hand? I’m from orange and ride the same basic areas (so.cal, Santiago peak, barstow) These things look like a hoot. Every vid I’ve watched on these has put a smile on my face. I think my mind is set to sell my xr’s and pick a new one of these.

Just picked mine up today. 2008, 830 miles, larger pegs, front and rear rack. No carb, air or exhaust mods. $2500. Super excited. Just had my first ride and am in research mode for goodies. I haven't rang it out yet. I'm 6'2" 220 pounds. How much do you weigh? Suggestions on first mods?

Not to overstep my bounds on the mods, but one major upgrade is to put the Shinko SR241 4.00x18 on the front if it wasn't changed by the P.O. You will feel a whole lot safer on it.

Biggest change is the gearing and getting the carburetor running correctly. I also have a FMF muffler and a Uni air filter, but those didn't do a whole lot.

It's a TrailTech Voyager Pro. Absolutely love the unit and highly recommend it It comes with a wheel speed sensor but I just use the GPS for speed. For tach, there's a wire that wraps around the spark plug wire. There is also a temp sensor if you have a radiator, voltage from the battery, and buddy tracking if your friends have the same GPS
