90+ Parkour Pyramid Shortcuts (Old Map)

Some setups for the harder ones are probably not optimal.
Some shortcuts were found by Ponyah and xSavage.

These skips were done on the first version of the map. Most of them don't work / exist on the newer versions.

Hey I found a shortcut in level 25 that lets you skip to level 75! But sadly I was not sure how I preformed the trick all I know is that it was something to do with the levitation affect in the elevator thing in that level where it gave me more levitaition than normal maybe you could try and replicate it because if so It would be a VERY big time save for speed running!

Are you playing on the new Version of that map? I play on an Old one and there are Some more Shortcuts, even one to skip many Levels because you can keep the jumpboost+levitation of that late 1 Block dropper

the parkour spiral segmented speedrun took ages, so a segmented speedrun of this one would take so much longer... I probably won't do one, but indeed that would be great.

Just noticed that you can use spawn protection to skip parts.

Oooh yeah I told myself that I would show that in the video but I completely forgot ! You can also quit the game and relog to cancel fall damage. I probably wouldn't use any of them in a speedrun, since I find that they kinda blot the quality of the speedrun. The thing is you could save a tremendous amount of time by only using these 2 exploits. what's your opinion about that ?

@@astralio9437 Reloging feels cheaty. But the spawn protection feels more legit because it's an intended mechanic. You are right that the quality gets worse. But at the same time, the purpose of a speedrun is to complete it as fast as possible. Maybe it's two different categories?

​@@Bullen13 Yeah i actually agree with you. Spawn protection is rationally alright for a Any% category, there is no reason why you wouldn't use it. The thing is it feels pretty hard to define another category, because it needs to have a point. I was thinking about "No major shortcuts" where you couldn't use shortcuts that skip levels (but you can still use shortcuts inside of a level) so you actually go through the whole map. Categories like "No Major Glitches" always feel too vague to me and pointless.

Les sauts qui m'ont le plus impressionnés: 3:00 Saut en profondeur et rattrapage sur la liane. 4:06 Neo en diagonale après enchaînement de quelques sauts. 6:07 Neo de 4 en profondeur. 9:38 Esquive du plafond et rattrapage sur l'escalier. [PUB ingrate] GG ! Et... tu n'envisages pas de tenter le speedrun du jump que tu avais fais sur ma zone en Freecube, sur Funcraft [C34898] ? Ton record était autrefois d'1h 20 quand le meilleur à cet instant était d'1h 55. Hélas d'ici là, le record a plusieurs fois été battu jusqu'à: 44 minutes ! :D (Bien joué à DieuVivant, qui porte assez bien son nom !). De plus; {en ma compagnie tout du moins} tu n'avais pas fais les quelques parcours que je proposais à la fois sur la même zone, ainsi que sur les autres. :) [Petit Rappel si l'envie se présente:] sur Funcraft (1.8 -> *1.9.4* -> 1.X) en Freecube (bloc de briques), (/fc tp ) -> /fc tp A18180 (Jump avec 16 nouveaux niveaux + "Jump Insane" battu par 1 unique personne: crusoe54) -> /fc tp A64287 ("Jump_Automatik" à droite en sortant) -> /fc tp A193000 (nouvelle zone) -> /fc tp B41946 (5 Jumps délaissés par leur créateur mais existent cependant...) -> /fc tp C34898 ("Ultimate_Jump" & Jumps particuliers parfois sous certaines conditions, très instructifs sur les possibilités.) -> /fc tp D294 (82 niveaux de difficulté croissante, monte vraiment à partir du lvl 25) A bon entendeur :) Cordialement, un Jumpeur passionné :D

merci pour ton commentaire, je verrais si l'envie me prend, mais je t'avoue que en ce moment j'ai pas vraiment envie de faire du parkour. Et non je n'envisage pas de speedrun le jump de la dernière fois, je décide pas ça comme ça (ça prend beaucoup de temps). là si je compte speedrunner une map c'est bien parkour pyramid et pas une autre, et étant donné que je suis assez perfectionniste ça prendra beaucoup de temps dans tous les cas.
