The 90's was the best time to be a kid, we had enough cool technology but not too much where we wouldn't play outside. The internet hadn't taken over yet so shopping malls were still nice, video rental stores and small mom and pop shops were still around. 90's had this fun funky vibe to it with the neon colors that carried over from the 80's, some great tv shows and movies and cartoons and great music. Some times you just need to sit back and let your mind drift back to the good old days.

There's something gentle and inviting about the way the colors bleed, glow, and blur. It makes the past feel larger-than-life and special. On days when life is confusing and stressful, I watch these videos to bring order, if that makes any sense.
@sadetucker20946 жыл бұрын
Me too. I agree about the colors as well. Watching these videos makes me wish I knew what the 2000s would bring. The end of all things classic and simple. If only we could go back to the 90s and stay there. Would you spend the rest of your life in the 90s? Like we could love 1990 to 1999 over and over until we die? That probably would get weird after a while lol.
@mileskay75666 жыл бұрын
@@sadetucker2094 I grew up in both the late 90s and the 2000s, so I have fond feelings for the first half of the decade, despite all the horrible things 9/11 brought to the atmosphere. I often fantasize about what my life would be like if I could live among Hippie in the late 60s, or see dead rock stars in concert. I sometimes wish I could have helped animate some of my favorite cartoons, or had tea with Thomas Jefferson. Heck, imagine being alive to watch Jesus Christ cast out demons, or witness the height of the Roman Empire! I guess my point is that, while I don't doubt the 90s were better is some ways, we're stuck where we are, so we might as well try to make the present the best it can be so that future generations fantasize about getting to experience life in the 2010s. (And of course, there is no shame in missing days gone by)

Great set of vintage commercials from the ABC Affiliate here in Las Vegas, Nevada. KTNV-13 had the "Inside Las Vegas" news team, and loads of local individuals who were given their own programming during the weekend slate. 4:00 Coincidentally, Dr. Hedger here was one of my instructors at Med School. By that time (2004-2005), he had ditched the glasses, and had far less hair, LOL. Thanks for the Upload!
