That Back to the Future commercial brought back some memories. I also have it on tape. Also, I guess there was a 900 number for everything.

The funny part is the price a used vhs tape was back then, would’ve been 9.99 at most now that vhs tape is $3.00 on eBay. Lol

I never saw the Back to the Future movies when they first came out (though I had just been born when 1 came out, so that one's understandable). Though to this day I still don't understand how I missed 2 and 3. First time I remember 2 was when my dad rented it from Tower Records around that time but I didn't catch it myself. I didn't see the full movie until roughly 3-4 years later. And insert obligatory Clerks "Ooooh, Navy Seals!" joke here.

6:22 - "It's like Platoon and Top Gun rolled into one"...Great, now I want to see a Vietnam drama scored by Kenny Loggins, and with a gratuitous volleyball scene.

976-Wake...So, instead of a one-time investment of a reliable alarm clock, you can pay $2 plus a possible toll every time to have a hotel-style wake up call? This does not make sense to me.

Do they even still make the deluxe version of lunchables? Cause that was my favorite. I loved that edge commercial growing up, which is strange cause I was nowhere near old enough to shave 😭.

I haven't seen the deluxe version in years.
@blackdragon64 жыл бұрын
@@thelazycrafter4u figured, I myself almost forgot about them. But I loved the deluxe versions. Which if I remember correctly came with some Type of fancy mustard, Possibly with greypoupon and a chocolate mint.

"People. That's what we're all about." Back before People became a tabloid. That was a good summer of action movies. "Navy SEALS" wasn't quite the big hit the commercial makes it out to be but "Die Hard 2" had come out a couple of weeks before that and "Ghost" was the sleeper hit of the summer that everyone was going to see. There was a piece on "Hard Copy" about how there were so many violent mostly R-rated movies that summer. This was about a week before Iraq invaded Kuwait and shifted the focus of the news. I remember watching "Late Night with David Letterman" with Robert Downey, Jr. talking about "Air America" when it was interrupted with a Special Report on the invasion.

People is still a more respectable magazine than any tabloid. At least they highlight regular people as well as celebrities.

I have a coupe of old tapes I believe were record during a Twilight Zone Marathon in late 1989, and I know it has some commercials that haven't been featured on your channel. Is there anyway I can get the content to you as I have no way of converting and uploading them on KZbin myself.
