I used to chew Carefree pretty constantly in the mid-90's. I'd get a 10 pack with 5 sticks a pack in all different flavors from the 99¢ Only store not far from my elementary. I'd sometimes chew over 10 sticks at once just for a brief flavor explosion and cheek muscle pain afterward, lmao! I remember that life savers ad way too clearly, too.

just incase anyone didn't know, carefree gum is back now. it's available in peppermint and original bubble, and you can find it at your local wal-mart.

Hahaha...I totally remember the Charles Barkley commercials for Right Guard. I always thought it funny how angry he sounded when he said "Flaky white stuff!"

LIFESAVERS!! HMMM!! Loved those commercials back then. When 2 of my nephews were around 6-7 I had them do background vocals while I imitated lead vocals when the Lifesavers commercials came on! I wish I still had the VHS tape of that! LOL! Unfortunately it got destroyed in a flood in my sisters basement :(! Twix Cookies N Creme MMM!!

2:05--Is that Ladysmith Black Mambazo singing the background music in the Life Savers commercial? It sure sounds like them. One of my favorite ethnic folk groups.

@zestsoap20 I've always been so distracted by Macaulay Culkin's mullet that I never even noticed Danson's ponytail. The whole movie looks to be filled with frightening examples of bad mid-90's hairstyles.

Wow, I never knew they promoted Memphis as a travel destination outside of my city Memphis lol !

The song is a classic. I'm not sure who sang it here, but it was originally recorded by Chuck Berry in 1958, and Johnny Rivers had a big hit with his 1964 version.

Looks like Jason laid off those "Fat Free" pretzels for a while, then went back to them recently! I do remember "Prove it, pretzel boy!" Penn & Teller didn't do New York so I guess we were a one-horse town :( I didn't get Comedy Central until 1997, when MST3K was off it :( But, I also picked up Sci-Fi at that time!

@80sCommercialVault That's appropriate since Getting Even With Dad is a frightening example of bad mid-90s family "comedy".

that Honda Del Sol is a crazy concept. and impractical. if it came up a sudden rainstorm, you would have to put that top on real quick. i did have a convertible with levers like that to put the top up and down tho. "Motown's newest stars, Boyz II Men." lol RIP MJ Wooh- MST3K! the twix guy is cute crossanwiches are disgusting I LOVED those Life Savers commercials

The dueling Wyatt Earp movies was one of the odder examples of Hollywood groupthink. At any rate, Tombstone is much, much better. Whatever happened to Boyz II Men? You'd think co-starring on the #1 sitcom in America would get Jason Alexander more respect at his class reunion. I'm fairly certain I saw that Penn & Teller tour. I don't remember Teller woodchipping a bunny rabbit, though. Did anyone who watched Comedy Central in 1994 want to buy a bigger car?
