Thanks! Basic mods are stage 1 (just a software +70 to 100hp). And stage 2 (with down pipes ~+150 hp). Cosmetics: Rear CF diffuser, front lip, maybe rear spoiler, wheels?

@@EnjoytheMoments Nice numbers! Your videos make me miss my CLS63 I was only stage 2 on pump. Currently have a M177 E63 I went all out since I knew the engine can hold high power I’m pure 1000s, spool HPFP & LPFP + meth on custom tuned ECC E40 977whp 860wtq. Best I ran was high 9s 1/4 & mid 5s 60-130 until I fried my clutches. Not many options for me so have put the power down back to pump until I reinforce clutches. Keep up the great videos 👌🏼

@@benzamg336 The guts I know with the newer 4.0TT V8 are wishing they went back to the 5.5. Then I asked a few AMG master techs and they said the new 4.0 has had 5x more TSB and even a few recalls, vs the old 5.5TT V8 which really had almost no recalls and not many serious TSBs.

@@MasterCarguy44-pk2dq Not me, no recalls or engine issues with my E63 1 year of ownership and I abuse my cars, doesn’t even burn any oil. Def an upgrade from my CLS63 M157. First off just a stage 2 tune on pump gas is 700whp and it’s super reliable at that power level will go mid 10s @ 135mph. Pump gas my 5.5 M157 best was 11.1. 9MCT is much better than the 7G quicker shifts & holds torque better. 5.5 M157 had noticeably more turbo lag than the 4.0 M177 since turbos are on top. I wouldn’t dare do upgrade turbos on the M157 without forged internals. M177 is more robust and doesn’t need forging since it comes factory full forged. @ 977whp 860wtq I eventually fried my clutches which is no surprise. It’s still a relatively expensive and new platform, once cheaper option clutches comes out for the 9MCT you got yourself a 9.6-9.8 sec 1/4 sedan that’ll do 60-130 in low 5s.

There are no issues in the year and a half. The thing is, my car was tuned by the guys who know what they are doing. ECC TUNED. I had not the best experience with Eurocarged orlando 😕. Lack of knowledge... so it's very delicate with these cars

@@EnjoytheMoments thats good. ive heard as long as the m157 is maintained its a good motor. adding hundreds of more hp and tq is a bit different tho lol. main thing ive heard with tuning them is it might start to bend the piston rods. do you have upgraded internals? is that something to worry about?

@Bravery yes, i have forged internals. If you go above 800hp crank it is recommended to prevent bending rods.

@Bravery i believe there are 2 brands for pistons and rods. Weistec and Italian RP. Mine is Weistec. They are both reputable brands. Professional diagnostic probably can tell you more than me, especially on the specific vehicle. Watch Tasos on KZbin. He is a guru of these cars, talks and shows problems on tuned/factory cars with different mileage.

@Bravery it is custom pipe work, you can call it down pipes if you want. I believe it is a little smaller than original amg mufflers from f10 m5. Came out nice i think, very sharp and crispy sound
