9003 + 208 Pass City Hospital with a Grand Central to York Road Depot ECS Movement.
Over the years when Enterprise services got diverted into the now closed Great Victoria Street De Dietrich sets would have to run towards Adelaide before reversing and running round the Central Reversible Line formally known as the Up & Down Central before heading towards Central (Lanyon) / York Road and vice versa to ensure sets were facing the right direction for passenger service (Loco at the north end & DVT as the south end).
The Central Reversible line is also known as the avoiding line by enthusiasts.
Now as a result of bi directional running being possible on Blythefield Curve and a crossover at the GC side of City Hospital this has done away with the need for DDs to reverse heading to or from the direction of York Road.
