Brother, Fantastic Upload and as always very educational.. DL is my absolute worst movement so I was glued to this one. I know with proper programming I’ll get it off the floor to lockout “like a Gazelle” And remember (only through true misery can we find true contentment.) Apostle No1 UK

I agree, the only reason I do rack pulls is to train grip strength

My personal fav is the snatch grip deficit pulls! Something about them, very primal, makes ya feel strong haha! Unfortunately for the sake of nursing the fragile little nerves around the base of my spine I've decided to change my sexuality for this coming training cycle. Dissapointing but I wanna keep pulling with less worry of splitting in half mid rep lmao. Who knows maybe I'll go through conversion therapy at the end of the block, quite possible hahaha. Loved the vid mate 😉🤙

Great ranking. Generally the only variation i do is the paused deadlif. The RDL is great as a glute and hamstring builder. However, the direct carryover to deadlift isn't great and therefore i see it more as a standalone lift as opposed to a variation.
@The_Wolf_King666Ай бұрын
It definitely works the deadlift muscles mate so I think there is definitely warrant for it building the deadlift but it is used differently and not as a main exercise for powerlifters etc

Hey man love your videos and was wondering what was your max deadlift when you were natural

Would love a tutorial on paused deadlift. Pause deadlift always felt harder then normal deadlift for me probably cause i do them wrong. Been wondering about pause length/height, where to pause for what weak points and how heavy i should do pause deadlift for based on my 1 rep deadlift max.
@The_Wolf_King666Ай бұрын
Perhaps I shall do one soon 🤝🏼

Excellent video! Question from 🏴 I drop my topset weight by 30% and do a couple of sets of deficits as a backdown. I do find my posture changes a bit to accomodate the additional ROM. Unsure if I’m ‘supposed’ to be keeping my legs stiff or even sitting down more into my deadlift. I find if I maintain normal deadlift posture the weight is coming out an inch or two in front of me which doesn’t feel ideal. Any advice would be most appreciated.
@TheBriandmartinАй бұрын
My sticking point is just getting the bar off of the floor. What variation would you recommend for that issue?
@The_Wolf_King666Ай бұрын
Getting stronger and doing deficits. Also making sure you’re in the best position when you start the lift
