STORY: Conflict has erupted into open fighting once again in
Cambodia. With the start of the rainy season little more
than a month away, government troops and members of the
coalition resistance guerillas are battling to secure
territory. This week, Roving Report travels into Cambodia
with a senior general in the army of Prince Silhanouk - the
senior coalition leader - and discovers what life is like
away from the government-controlled areas.
SHOWS: General Toan Chay puts on rucksack; troops set off
into jungle; (December 1989) battle for capture of Phum
Ampil; Toan Chay's group travelling on carts; hospital in
Phum Ampil and patients; anti-personnel spikes and mines;

Yeah we really appreciated what the vietnames did for us. KHMER ROUGE, people were supported by Thailand, and China. THOSE 2 COUNTRIES WERE SUPPORTED THE KHMER ROUGE. THEY ARE A SERIAL KILLERS, EVERYONE OF THEM. THANKS TO THE VIETNAMESE FOR THEIR HELPED. YEAR 1975 TO 1978. KHMER PEOPLE WERE SAFE IN 2978. NO MORE KILLED OR TORTURED OR STARVED TO DEATH. 🙏🕉
