In this video, I am creek crappie fishing from the bank. I have never seen a tree this loaded with creek crappie. I am creek crappie fishing in January in a small Texas creek. I am using a double jig rig for crappie. In my opinion, this is the best rig for crappie fishing from the bank. This crappie fishing setup allows you to fish at two different depths at once. Crappie are one of the movingest fish I’ve ever caught in my opinion. Sometimes they will definitely surprise you. Me and a buddy fished a creek in my area Tuesday and really caught some nice ones. There was still ice in spots in the river and water temps was 32 but we was catching average 11-13” fish 12-16ft deep with minnows and slip cork. My buddy Tryed his hardest to catch em on the jigs and nothing but they definitely chewed the live bait. Now we are like y’all fixing to get about 3” rain today and I’m sure it’s gonna be muddy mess for next week or so. Enjoyed the Content

That double jig, slip bobber rig is my go to on creeks and during the spawn on lakes. Used to switch to single jig/slip to hit the really shallow spots when fishing the spawn. But after picking up a couple of really long cane poles (12'?) ....

Yes, super grips are only available in the 7’ and up. I am using my 6’6 1 piece in this video!

Do you have a slow pull down of the bobber or a bobbing bobber when they hit? In wisconsin we have a slow pull down of the bobber in spring when the water is still cold

Is that this year's acc stix or last year's I have last year's acc 6-6 one peace an my bobber stoper string keeps hanging up on the eyes I've tried different ways still hangs up you have any suggestions thanks.

I do not have that problem. Are you using the black beads or the string with the black tubes? I use the string! If they are trimmed correctly. You should be good to go!
