Dude. I used to mc down in Plymouth for the likes of HMS / Loftgroover. They’d be proud of this shit. Love it. Keeping vinyl alive and great mixing mate. ❤

Thanks man, would that have been at Big Nasty Dragon? The record I hold up to the camera at 35:17 is signed by Loftgroover.

Are the random, loud and profane vocal samples that crop up every now and then, part of the genre? if so, that is awesome and inspirational

Yes, they most definitely are. Hardcore samples everything without prejudice and the more extreme the better. Check out the contrast when ones put against a more commercial sounding track. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWLPhqusm6mSm9E

@@djbuckaroo9258 Awesome, that went straight to my playlist, and I will blasting that shit later. I thought I had already explored everything that Dutch/Belgian Hardcore had to offer, Early Hardcore or "Gabber" (I know in Netherlands thet don't call it that) Uptempo, Terror, Hardstyle, Frenchcore even Jumpstyle, you name it. I don't know why this exact sub style has gone straight over my head, but anyway thanks Btw do you know of any good online tutorials on how to DJ old school style? With Vinyls and such

@@Will-qx9vm Yeah there's loads of different sub genres. Speedcore is just a catch all for the faster stuff. I don't know of any online tutorials. I learnt how to mix from mates and mimicking other DJ's way before we had the internet.
