Thank you for the video . Almost got a lump in my throat watching. Lovely peaceful fun era of happiness. The atmosphere that background music evokes you can’t describe. Just a wonderful time. The transition from Bmx’s to mountain bikes , vhs videos , the warm summer nights playing out till all hours then coming home to bath shower and get into a cosy cool bed windows open reminiscing the joys the day bought as you watch the night fall looking out your bedroom window the smell of summer still lingering as you fall asleep sneakily listening to your Sony Walkman under the covers, taking one last look around your bedroom before sleeping to gaze at your books , the smell of the pages whifting through the air , models on the window ledge , your favourite posters doning the walls and that side lamp which had the cool switch button on and off. The excitement that era had I think is untouchable. Tv u had everything from Tarzan, night rider , blankety blank , play your cards right , red dwarf , the young ones , gladiators , baywatch . Parkinson’s chat show + films like lethal weapon. Fantastic ☺️

I still have a 90s Hi-Fi boombox sitting on a shelf in my bedroom. I sometimes listen to FM radios or play songs from my smartphone on it with the help of a small Bluetooth transceiver hooked up to the boombox's AUX input. It works and listens fine. The funny thing is that its CD player doesn't work smoothly due to either the CD player or the CDs themselves. But cassettes play fine. Would never expect that CDs would be that unreliable and short-lived compared to cassettes when they came out in the 90s.
