It seems that the Ballistic Brothers track was removed from the video, and I made a mistake for the Bubbatunes track. It won't let me edit so here's the updated list: 0:05 Marden Hill - Honey Dipped 5:28 Marden Hill - Come On 9:25 Hustlers of Culture - Mad Science [REMOVED] Ballistic Brothers - Valley of the Afro Temple 14:40 Coldcut - Eine Kleine Hedmusik 19:40 Bubbatunes - This is Just a Mix 23:20 Common Ground - Angels Never Fall in Love 28:10 Kava Kava - Touchy Feelie 34:50 Moves in Motion - Thank You (For That Funky Vibe)

@@blackat812 If you're thinking right around 19 mins, it's still the Coldcut track, but it seems to have some scratching at the end on her record. It's from the "Ninja Cuts : Funkjazztical Tricknology" vinyl. If you're thinking around 19:40, I made a mistake in the pinned comment. It's "Bubbatunes - This is Just a Mix", not "a Dance". I can't find it on KZbin though.

Yoo this is by far one my favourite dj's you had on. Superb mix. Feeling very blessed not knowing any of the artists, nor Nina, her labels or anything she does. Its pouring rain outside, the mood is hella comfy inside... the perfect setting for a deep dive into a new musical realm. Thanks for yet another amazing introduction.

This is trippy - I was just articulating this genre to a friend, thinking I need to add more of it to my library, and now this pops up in my feed moments after the conversation. Saving it for this evening and a glass of wine. Can't wait to hear (and dance to) it! Many blessings. ❤

Such a great mix... #still in the '90s ... Was a tremendous step change in musical time. The Acid Jazz label, Brand New Heavies, Incognito, Jamiroquai in UK popularising jazz funk with plenty of groups / individuals like DIG, Swoop, UTE, Dale Barlow, Jackie Orszaczky and many more coming into their own down under.

Awesome set. Very trippy, mushroom jazzy, hip hop infused vibes here. This one is getting added to my playlist, and going into regular rotation. Nice one!
Great mix! I use to DJ some of these records back in the late 90's at such iconic venues in Melbourne as Revolver and Honky Tonks.Coldcut and Common Ground, special faves, nice work...

Bravo Nina, this is a superb and tasty tracklist ! This makes me think of Guru, founding member of Gang Starr. He realised three solo "Jazzmatazz" albums from 1993 to 2000, and they are the perfect exemple of the musical fusion you perform here. He collaborated with many artists, from all over the World, for those masterpiece trilogy (Japan to France, UK to USA, etc.) and your style goes this way yet digging a little deeper. I encourage everyone to have a listen at those artists you bring, and also Brand new heavies, Incognito, 4hero, Matt Bianco, Digable Planets, Buckshot LeFonque, Us3, and the likes. The UK scene of the 1990-2005 era was so creative, digging its roots in reggae, soul, funk, jazz, pop, and probably an dozen of other music genres. Thank you for making this fresh again !

Awesome stuff. I grew up on this genre in the late 90s, early 00s. Indefinitely expanded my musical tastes. Also have a bunch of now very old friendships that all started through trip hop. Great music makes great friends.
Mark Farina introduced me to this trippy hiphop scene - did not know this was a British sound. Always more to learn - but buttery mixing on this one - will need to catch some of this sound when I go to the UK for a trip!
