Chris, as I have stated before, I love your content. As a competitive magic fan, I think your commentary is amazing. I am not a Legacy player myself (I’m a filthy modern player lol) but I still keep up with the meta, as any format that Lightning Bolt (my favorite card) is legal in is a good format. Hi Chris, I really like the legacy games, so I appreciate, that you are sharing this content. What would make this experience even more pleasurable is in dept commentary (match up assessment, options, how to play the match up, side boarding and strength and weaknesses of specific line). I am trying to get into the format and I can see, that Reid tapped one mana to play Nettle sentinel and passed the turn, I am more interested in WHY. I am not a native speaker so I hope this doesn´t sound rude, please consider this more of a kind request. Thank you 🙂

Thank you for watching and for the feedback! I try to talk about strategy, while also having a conversation with live chat and naming each card that hits the table. Sometimes the discussion ends up being strategy focused, sometimes we're talking about favorite card sleeves. Occasionally, I will wish I had spoken more in depth about strategy. Other times, I feel that talking about strategy for too long became boring. Still looking for the right mix. -Chris

I’m confused about the response to the legend rule. The legend rule is a state based action and can’t be responded to

The legend rule happens then the depth trigger goes on the stack as a state based effect. The way depths reads is something like “if depths has no counters…”. So destroying depths while the depths trigger is on the stack results in no merit lage.

Definitely a huge mistake that lost the game in the end. Just Crop in response to Boseiju and get another Stage to target DD again. Jeff had the mana for two activations because of Urborg. Aren't Turbo players supposed to know this?
