I'm a Camaro lover, fav model is 82-92, always hated convertibles. But I have to say, this is probably the 1st and only convertible Camaro I've liked. Well done. Love that you put lots of before and after pics. Huge difference. Wish I could do that to mine.

Beautifull car man, I am rebuilding a 87 iroc right now and I got my original iroc rims to look like yours, lots of sanding on the aluminum but the mirror finish in the end is well worth it. Great job on your car, it looks Awesome!!

Gorgeous camaro man. F the haters. Its your car, you did what you like. I think its pretty damn hot. Air ride is great for drag racing as well, being able to throw all the weight to the rear tires helps with the 60' times and would make an awesome corner carver.

You guys did a nice job on this one. I've owned a couple of these as well as the 5.0 Mustangs...the Camaros always handled better and you could really push them harder...they were always slower but easy enough to solve that problem. The one big issue I had was on our '92 it had t-tops and it was always a pain with the leaks and rattles even after new rubber...never had a drop top one. Thanks for showing us this

What it too difficult to paint it yourself? Mines getting reshot this week, the paint before after like 2 years chips and flakes off so easy I had to get it repainted. If this new paint doesn't hold up I'm gonna see about painting it myself.

Always wanted the convertible. Mine has t-tops. It's the starship interior berlinetta but I put the 92 ground effects on it. What tire size and wheel backspacing do u have? That's a beautiful car, u did a awesome job.

the rims dont rub at all because the car has air ride suspension, it can go as high as 8 inches and as low as oil pan on the ground.

Very nice. Only issue I have is the badging. SS on the seats and Z28 on the skirts. Technically it's a IrocZ clone. I woulda left it with the RS badging or just went all Z28.

I had a 91 RS about 14 years ago - my first car, 5.0L TBI...slower than sloth shit. But I loved it until Camaros went the way of the guido...or, when i realized it. Nice shots of the interior, was cool to see that tach/speedo one more time. I hadn't seen the inside of one since I sold mine. You gotta do something about that stock shifter tho - but I have to admit, it looks pretty good.

beautiful 3rd gen man. nice work. may I make you a very simple and cheap suggestion that will totally change the look of the car, but can be easily undone if you don't like it? with those chrome Iroc wheels, run a strip of black electrical tape down the middle of the spoke. it fits perfectly down into the recessed area and totally changes the look of them. I did it on my 18" irocs and it looked amazing on a black vehicle. message me if you would like to see pics

The LT-1 is a perfect fit for these camaros no dodifications needed to the engine compartment. Ls1 will also fit but you need to do a lot of modifications to make it sit in the car. the seats are from a 97 camro or c5 corvette seats will fit as well.

Yes! I have been working on many cars, I just didn’t have time to make videos until now. I was asked to make videos on the work I do. The motor got installed with the stock transmission never got car running not wired.at the end the guy got sick had a heart attack. So the car is just sitting here. I asked a few people around and nobody seems to know about camaros. So I wanted to ask you what do you charge so my car can look like the one you built? But mine is not convertible. It's a hard top.

I have a 91 convertible I'm redoing, how was that doing you work? I want mine all black too. I have a buddies convertible at my house now. He got it painted and I got it putting it back together. I had to put the whole interior back in and I just put a new top on it last weekend.

@stl161 if you are mechanically incline, you can do this in NO time.... All I had to do was change the fuel pump, install the new engine and wiring harness, connect all sensors and new computer, and that was it... not hard at all.

Nice ride Art I am doing something similar to my 91 Vert, How did you address the clear plastic area where the top rides when the top is up. I am thinking of leaving it and painting the same color. But interested how other people treat this on their verts. Super job on saving that car! Mike

Hi Lynn Thank you for your comment on my video. I painted over the area whee the convertible top rests. Since the convertible top has a weather strip, it won't damage the paint at all. hope that answers your question.

Thanks for the comment, I saw your car, it look very nice, but if you want to improve on the looks I think you have the right mind set. This is what I did to the camaro, Z28 hood, 4th gen camaro seats, 18" Iroc rims, Air ride suspension, Shaved door handles, LT-1 corvette engine 330HP (factory) if you are going to look for a real vette engine look for the assesories mounted on the driver's side of the engine, and the AC compressor is on top.

The rims are IROC, and they are 18 x 8 the tires are falcon and they are 245 40 18.
