Thank you for posting !(:) Believe your title of video is wrong or/and misleading...even though it is the title of the radio program ON parapsychology which this video is taken from...but which actually shows that he was already NOT quite understood at that particular period of time (end 80's) when he was invited to radio or TV shows. U.G.was outside the realm of definitions or categorizations ..such as ..."philosophy"... "science"... "religious belief systems"..etc...etc..and even more so..definitely not "parapsychology" Frankly I don't understand why people didn't understand him..or still not today !? In fact I find his talks very clear, simple and straightforward... if one makes the mental effort and concentrates in listening to his words. His authenticity and honesty is quite refreshing finally !..and not complicated !! In fact with what science is discovering in many areas and domains..such as the latest discoveries in nuclear physics..or what the Hubble telescope is revealing..U.G.'s discourse is even more in the actuality of today !(:)

U.G. is just brutal honesty. Life is a messy biological affair and lies play a major part in it. You're just here. Try to live a decent life while you're here or not live, choose to end it, its up to you. In any case, it seems to me to be a wicked random thing that happened by chance.

Alain Maitre I like UG, because he puts it very clear, that there is nothing you can do to obtain spirituality, I think is true, if not, some guys will be in the good path others in the wrong one, I don’t think spirituality is about being right or wrong. It is and will always be an eternal mystery to humans.

Practice of mindfulness, as I see it, is a mean to become more aware of the mind, which means of yourself. It is an act of resolving your psychological state which brings clarity. I feel that one needs clarity to be sane. Now, maybe, at the final point, as many "masters" of various kinds would suggest; your mind is not you. I think that the religious teachings about the final point should be secret, and reserved for the few who actually have a chance of deserving it. UG seems to me as a con man who sells a magic short cut that will end everybodys questions. I prefer to keep the fire of my wonder, even when it burns me, because it is mine.

Both are right. UG's talks on 'mind' was more to do with the usefulness and value of Thought. Thich Nhat Hanh was talking more about being aware of, and organising Thoughts in order to be in the moment. UG is like the last semester of 12th grade, after which you're DONE with school. Thich Nhat was more about how to do well in high school.
