Jesus wants everyone to go to heaven and if he has time to redeem himself unto the lord then he will. Only God knows his heart and true repentance. It is said that not one sin is greater than the next. All sin is the same. So in God’s eye a lie is just as bad as a murder. It’s a hard pill to swallow because we have come so accustomed to all kinds of sin that we feel, maybe it isn’t such a bad sin and not think twice about it. So, if one person is hurt by a lie and that person who told that lie , may think it’s not that big a deal, but the person who was lied to certainly felt betrayed by this person and feels hurt. Then the person that was lied to tells a lie to someone else and doesn’t even realize, what a hypocrite they are because they don’t like being lied to but yet they lie themselves. We are born into sin from the very beginning and we are to try and not sin. That being said. He and his wife should not be leading any church. Those who knew that they were having problems, are just as guilty, by letting him stay on and being a false teacher and hypocrite. God works in mysterious ways. No one acted on this and he decided to let it be known. It doesn’t mean we should hate him, it means release him of his post and pray for him. God will punish pastors more severely because they are leading a flock. I would not want to be in his shoes. It is a heavy load to carry. May God bless you.

How does the “release” of 911 calls like this not violate the personal privacy rights of the people recorded? More importantly, how does one obtain a copy of a 911 call like this anyhow? Let alone the question of how someone would be granted clearance to “release” one to the public, especially through main stream media. I’ve never been able obtain a copy of any 911 call I’ve ever made, whether it’s for my personal records or for future litigation reasons. These calls should be virtually sealed and protected as evidence. Would you be outraged if the results of a rape kit test that was administered to you or a loved one were to be made public?

It probably depends on the state as to the legalities of releasing taped phone calls, even if they're 911. All 811 calls are now taped, I believe. Each state has their own rules about taping phone calls. Most companies have a prerecorded "this phone call is being taped for quality assurance" statement before one even gets to speak with a rep. This assures they aren't breaking any laws concerning consent to record. For 911, I think it's one of the few exceptions that no one has to say the call is taped. As to the release of the taped convos, that probably depends on the jurisdiction.
