Jim Hill yeah maybe so but, majority of that fucking conversation was unnecessary conversation while the girl is half way under a fucking bed with a intruder in the god damn room with her. Common sense would be the dispatcher shutting the fuck up and telling the girl to keep quiet. As the person before me said, the girl goes quiet, so should the call taker. And yes I’d know. On hot calls, a dispatcher is to get the info, and only info that’s absolutely needed then instructed to keep the victim quiet. You need to also know, that when an ear isn’t being pressed against the phones receiver speaker, the dispatcher can be heard by the intruder giving the victims location away.

Glad everything turned out ok for this girl. Just want to comment about the Lab she has for a pet. Labs make great pets but lousy guard dogs. Labs are more apt to show intruders around than protect. They're so good natured that they just don't have it in them to harm people, even thieves.

I agree to a point. If trained, labs can be good guard dogs but naturally, they definitely are just very friendly. If a stranger comes near our yard in the dark, our black lab will give a pretty serious 'mean' bark...occasionally a growl. But in daylight, he just gives an annoyed 'who are you and do you have any food' bark. Lol

You don't want her moving around to start with and surely not if there's only one officer on scene and he's locked out. A strangler hiding in the next room would change the whole scenario and make it far far worse.
