I have had this mod for years you can do automatic startup btw my Uncle was a CW5 Nighstalker he flew these for 30 years

there is a problem with the HUD interact, whenever i put the mouse to choose it, the hide body button appears not allowing me to choose the HUD thing. Any solution ?

Go to the ESC menu -> Configure -> Controls -> Configure Addons -> Hatchet Vehicle Framework You'll see options there to basically rebind the scroll up/down as well as the general vehicle interaction buttons to whatever you want - this should also work with a HOTAS setup, assuming it maps correctly into the base Arma 3 game.

Do you know if that HUD is in the real aircraft? Apache pilots have something like that but idk if the armed blackhawk has something that goes over one or two eyes that displays flight information.

Are you able to control the flir pod in flight as a solo pilot? I couldn’t get it to work without a co pilot

Yes you can, You can control it from inside the heli or if you press CTRL+ RMB. Personally i use it from inside and use alt+ numpad 4 (Left) 5 (Down) 6 (Right) and 8 (up) to slew the camera

Is there an idiot friendly version of this mod? I like the mod and all its features but it looks like a pain in the ass to go through all that to get it started.

you can select automatic startup with scroll wheel

Its a very simple startup, takes about 30 seconds once youve done it a couple of times, id recommend it but there is a mod out there that allows you to do the automatic startup without getting the "Student Pilot" markers on your heli, id recommend that because it is very annoying
