Is this module fully working? since razbam issue I read on some forums that the harrier also had problems due to lack of updates, is it safe if I buy it? I mean... will I get a playable fully working plane? or does it have its issues?

Afaik it is fully working, but it may come with some bugs, which might not get updated very soon. Altough in my time flying I haven't noticed any major bugs.

Ya it has a few bugs. If you like to use it in solo missions or servers that do not strictly enforce IC. You can fix one of the most problematic Issues. Its empty weight in the Flight model is about 1000 pounds to heavy according to real world navy documentation and manuals. You can back that file up and edit it. With that fixed you will be able to do more of what the flight manual says you should be able to do. Hover check the engine performance before missions. Its clearly a oversight by some one at Razbam. A change they did years ago to compensate for some DCS coding issue many patches back. DCS moved on and changed but AV-8b code never got fixed. If you ever try and do the old training missions and cant figure out why you cant do the steps they are asking you to do thats why.

I'm surprised at DCS for this. The sound file was pretty poor, and the gear animation was way too quick. The aircraft model looked ok, but also lacked some realistic detailing, considering this is payware

I disagree. I find the aircraft model to be just as good as other modules in DCS and I find that it looks great. Also I don't find the gear movement to be too quick, comparing it to real footage of the harrier. But I do agree with you on the point of the sound modeling, which is done relatively poorly in comparison to other modules.

I don't quite get this point. In case you're referring to VR headsets then I must remind you can get a TrackIR for a fraction of the price and without any increase in performance consumption, while also being incredibly useful for filmmaking such as I use it in contrary to a VR headset. Also if you don't own a full sim rig, I find DCS in VR to be annoying since you always have to find your mouse and keyboard with your hands. Therefor a grand part of the DCS community still uses TrackIR, very probably even more than VR.

That's right, however hand tracking is still a bit finicky and again in combination with VR I presume much more expensive than a TrackIR headset, and more performance consuming.
