Around 07:15, where you were parked, it's not safe at all. In fact, it's a risky area, where drivers suffering from indecisions or late moves (to take the turn off or not) end up. Abroad, you'll find impact attenuators set up (big plastic drums of water and such) to absorb crashes. Also the area would be marked with diagonal lines to discourage parking. In this case, the highway was completely empty, so you were relatively safe.

Hello, HONDA CB riders. I am Maanas Joga, another rider like you. I too checked various times about fuel tank capacity. But, Do not fill petrol above the lower edge of the filler neck, Because if you fill the tank to the brim, there is no space left for anything else. However, petrol requires some space for vapor creation. The fuel is burnt in the vapor form and not in the liquid form. Hence, the characteristic of petrol is to allow some vapor formation so that the combustion process can occur efficiently that's why HONDA manufacturers requested to have only 15 liters not more than that. If any doubt check manual book page number 42. Anyway you can find out by filling only once to test. For me I got 19.35 liters which costs around 2300/- rupees in AP/TS. And I am getting maximum mileage of 42.8 it all matters about how we ride.

Fuel economy is 35 wit huge head wind at 110-120. It is 37 with less wind at 120.
@VishakPillaiNagercoil Жыл бұрын
Mine, after 2nd service mileage has improved. Also gear shifting is key. If it is ridden with this kind of gear speed combinations 3rd gear 30 to 50 kmph, 4th gear 50 to 70 kmph, 5th gear after 70 kmph. I am a light rider weighing around 60 kgs. If rider is heavier or ridden with pillion and luggage need to shift at slightly higher speeds than mentioned above. This coupled with gradual and smooth acceleration with cruising speed of 85 to 90kmph returns mileage of 45kmpl. Since this bike has very tall gear ratio it is very sensitive to load, inclines, head wind etc. A clean and lubed chain with correct chain tension, correct tyre pressures coupled with relaxed riding is appropriate for this bike. This is not for those who would like to rush I believe. Similarly engine braking is poor compared to most other bikes due to its tall gearing coupled with slipper clutch. Hence to slow down need to downshift to lower gears gracefully to reduce speed and not completely rely only on brakes. This will instill confidence in braking as well as improve brake pads life greatly.
@vjxm22 ай бұрын
what about the front sprocket chnage to big one , it will destress engine in 5th gear
@VishakPillaiNagercoil2 ай бұрын
@vjxm2 Either bigger front sprocket or smaller rear sprocket will make the overall gear ratio tall. As long as gear shifting is done at appropriate speed and engine is not lugged no issues.
