Hello, for measuring the secondary of the transformer with the 2M and 2K resistance bridge, what kind of resistance do you use? (carbon, metal film, metal oxide?)

yes resistance test is safe but this live test provides an accurate health status of the transformer

if primary winding resistance is showing 6ohms and hv winding resistance is 212ohms than what is the condition of the transformer

I've noticed about 3.5vac at magnetron connection, can't i use a transformer whose output 3.5vac and feed it to the magnetron in that position of the microwave for testing for the heat

3.5vac is the low side voltage used for the vacuum tube filament inside the magnetron. But 1,800 to 2,800 volts is the high side voltage needed for the magnetron to heat.

sir ,i made this kit exactly according to the diagram,with same resistors and thier wattage, but when i tested it,i tested it for 4 seconds,and my new multimeter got blown,thanks it was a cheap clampmeter.sir whats the reason ,can you explain it sir?

Assalamualaikum sir.I have one sharp microwave oven. I check the ohms value of HV terminal with body.it shows 75.4ohms.rest of the values are matching with your video.If so,is it considered good or bad.please clear my doubt

HV transformer's (high voltage winding) one end is connected to oven body and the second end goes to HV diode and capacitor if you are getting reading with HV terminal and oven's body. that is good indication that the winding's second side is making good connection
