R.I.P. Anthony, crazy to hear this conversation with Shep. Knowing what we know now. It's heartbreaking but very interesting to listen to.

As hard as I try, it’s been difficult to accept Anthony Bourdain’s passing…I enjoyed watching his programs, they were different than anything else on television. Loved seeing all of the different countries and foods eaten.

Well that's it, to love and be loved is the meaning of life. (Practicing the golden rule, watching the sunset on the beach with your loved ones, while sipping your favorite drink.) We can all be happy if we can get our head around this nugget. Then we can contemplate what's next.

Oh God, is there anyone out there who isn’t sick as that song? Growing up as someone who listens to rock, I could go the rest of my life without hearing that again. It’s so played out.

Gordon sounds like a real role model. No wonder most of us do not take Hollywood people seriously. He sounds like he got rich being a shameless self-promoter. Once again, Anthony Bourdain gives us a serious, unvarnished interview - thanks, we will miss you.

Food touches all of us as does music, but food is needed for survival. I feel like such a loser for just finding out about Shep. What a great career, such an interesting man.

A LOT of podasters, "talk show" hosts, and popular interviewers need to take lessons here. Bourdain actually allows the guest to answer the given question without constantly interrupting. You just asked a question. Let. The. Guest. Answer. The f***ing . question. And shut yer trap while they answer it. We're missing Tony now more than we even know.

Two men that were at risk people. They both could see when the end was near at some times in their lives. Unfortunately Anthony was just tired. Seems Anthony was fishing for answers for what do you do when you feel your at the end, or what do you do to make you happy now? He just doesn't seem present for Sheps stories, he's looking for answers.

Vicki - no I'm not. But didn't know much about Anthony prior to making my remark. Since his passing have looked into his life and he's not a jerk. He had problems that he apparently hid by appearing to be interesting, involved and open. I'm sad at his passing in such an act. He had some demons but looked happy and carefree in many of his videos. Sorry for making such an un-thoughtful remark. Peace.
