Wow, David. It's so refreshing to hear someone who voted for Trump to not sound like Trump in that when they realize they've been mistaken don't double down and dig in their heels against reality so as not to appear "wrong". We've all voted for who we thought would be best and were let down. The thing that frightens me about Trump is the Autocratic aspects and cult of personality that surrounds him, his supporters and their utter willingness to deny plain facts rather than to simply say, " well, I was wrong. Oh well. What can I do to correct this or move on and do better..." -what same, thinking people do. I don't presume to think Republicans are not intelligent but Trumpism seems to me to be distinctive and not necessarily a conservative agenda in the traditional sense.

I was very nearly interested in purchasing this book until about 14:00 min in. Iran isn’t a nuclear threat. This has been proven time and again. In order for Iran to be working toward nuclear arms they must enrich uranium to 90. They only enrich to justify below 20% (the threshold for energy) They’ve jumped through endless hoops to prove this and pass every time. In order to even be prepping to plan this for the future they must also have a concerted military effort. They don’t. They need missiles and launching capabilities but they have none nor do they have plans or means to do so. Media uses ‘two month breakout time’ To trick you into thinking it would only take two months for Iran to build nuclear weapons when they’re completely mis-using the term. Breakout time means it takes two months to enrich uranium to those levels but would take two years for them to acquire and build the proper missiles. (Which mind you is rather difficult and fails more often than not, so two years is the bare minimum timeframe) In fact. They have a religious edict by way of fatwa that dictates they shall never build or stockpile these weapons in part due to their experience in the Iraq-Iran war, where they lost many lives to chemical weapons that were provided TO Iraq by the United States. Even all of their enemies have confirmed to us in the United States that they are not building chemical weapons including Isreal which is their biggest enemy with a vested interest in smearing them. If even ISRAEL, (who has US harassing Iran on BEHALF of them) has confirmed they aren’t the threat, then surely we can stop lying about them in this way?
