Kroll mentions how he thinks that Mulaney is more-or-less a genius during interviews, and you can really see it in this performance. Over and over again, Mulaney comes up with the wittiest responses and Kroll is just chuckling trying not to break character. I think Kroll is the better actor, and they're both obviously sharp, but I get the sense that Mulaney is a _very very_ smart guy.

*Kroll:* what it is is, it's a t-shirt, it looks like a prison t-shirt, and it says Alcatraz on it, but then it's stamped and it says _too cute!_ *Me, wearing that exact shirt:* _Holy Shit_

Every time I watch this, I find something else that is so damn funny. Oliver’s response to Gil/Kroll’s questions about the girl being a figure skater is so freaking phenomenal and makes me lose my s**t every time 😂

WHY is no one talking about Gil trying to walk his chair back in with no traction on his shoes ? that is hands down the single funniest thing I will ever witness.
