Evil Presence doesn't change the name of the Pendelhaven nor does it change the fact that it is a Legendary land. One of the two Pendelhaven's should have been sacrificed to the Legend rule.

So I was wrong, good to know 👍 Like I said we briefly discussed it. This makes the card even better at least in this situation. Would that also mean that a possible Blood Moon would turn it into a mountain in this case?

Timmy the Sorcerer right, blood moon would turn it into a mountain if played after Evil Presence because it’s still not a basic land

Love the old school content, brings back the memories. Lighting is a little (maybe a lot) dark on the green player side. Black player - for the love of god please play your lands under your other cards, especially on video for other people to see, smh.

So I am thinking of joining my local 93/94 eternal old school group. It looks like they all run powered decks plus library, workshops,etc. I am just curious do unpowered decks even have a chance? I have lots of good cards just not the above listed. Can you recommend the best color combination decks I could use?

If you play underpowered you can go aggro, for example Mono black rack. Another option is deadguy ale as it has many cheap spells with a high impact. White/red can also work well as a strong weenie deck with direct dmg to finish the game. Merfolk and Goblins are also great options btw.

True, it’s more fun to make a gentleman’s agreement and play without them. Although you don’t see them often at tournaments.
